Terms of Service

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Welcome to Luma Care ("Luma"). By creating an account or using the Luma mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Luma.

1. Luma's service

Luma is a care coordination tool for families and caregivers. It helps groups organise care recipients, schedules, task check-ins, updates, notes, photos, documents, and contacts.

Luma is not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, or professional care. Do not use Luma for emergencies.

2. Free service

Luma is currently provided free of charge. Luma does not currently offer paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or recurring billing.

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Luma. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in method secure, and take responsibility for activity carried out through your account.

4. Groups and shared information

Group owners manage their groups and members. Information you add to a group, including care recipient information, schedules, check-ins, notes, photos, documents, contacts, and updates, is visible to the other members of that group. Invite only people you trust and share only information you have the right to share.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant Luma a limited right to store, process, display, and share that content with the group members you select, solely to operate, secure, and maintain the service. Luma's branding, design, and functionality remain our intellectual property.

7. Availability and account deletion

We work to keep Luma reliable, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary. You may delete your account through the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create a safety, security, or legal risk.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luma is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of use, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its updated date will be posted on this page. Continued use of Luma after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
